TO MY WIFE ON OUR SEVENTH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

               Seven times seven times seven times

               seven memories fill these years
               forgotten memories of tears
               that fell when fear
               occasionally came near
               and though this is the time to scratch
               the itch that's under the other's skin
               there isn't in this world a wind
               that ever could blow out our match
